Lowering Refrigeration System Operating Costs
Most refrigeration plant operators hear it all the time: Find ways to
reduce operating costs. Using ammonia as a refrigerant is probably the
best decision when it comes to reducing operating costs because ammonia
is a cost-efficient refrigerant. Beyond that, there are plenty of
things you can do to make sure an ammonia refrigeration system is
giving you optimum performance. I'll cover some of those methods in
