Sales, customer service and logistics planning for customers in the United Kingdom and other European countries will now be provided by Continental Disc and Groth Corp. from a facility in Leiden, The Netherlands. Following a recruitment drive to appoint several new people to the multilingual customer service and sales teams, all of the companies' activities within Europe and the Middle East will operate from the Leiden sales hub beginning January 2, 2010.

"As our business and activities in Europe continue to grow, enhancing our logistics and customer service capabilities is a critical part of our development," says Dave Brown, president of Continental Disc and Groth Corp.

The Leiden facility will have systems that are directly integrated with the Continental Disc and Groth manufacturing plants in the Liberty, Mo., and Stafford, Texas, respectively. The Leiden facility also has large warehousing facilities that allow strategic stocks to be maintained to local and export supply agreements.
