Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride schedule 80 pipe complies with ASTM D1784 Cell Classification 24448, meaning it offers improved impact resistance, tensile strength, and heat temperature deflection characteristics (up to 230°F [110°C]). The piping is offered in a full size range from 0.5 to 12". Features include chemical and corrosion resistance to acids, alkalis, alcohols and other corrosives. CPVC thermoplastic will not rust, scale or pit.
