Bench-top method measures oil in water and eliminates the use of solvent. This eliminates the health and safety hazards associated with transporting, handling and disposing of solvents commonly used in the field for oil-in-water analysis. The method also eliminates operator error associated with precision liquid measurements during the analysis procedure. Used with a hand-held oil-in-water analyzer, the no-solvent method uses a simple surfactant instead of solvent. Model TD-500D is dust and waterproof, battery operated, and weighs less than 1 lb.
