To ensure business sustainability and compliance across global operations, China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) selected enterprise software from ESS as its comprehensive, integrated information management platform.

CNPC will implement Tempe, Ariz.-based ESS’s software at its facilities throughout mainland China. The system will support upstream and downstream oil and gas, oilfield service, engineering and construction, petroleum material and equipment manufacturing and supply operations. IBM Global Services will conduct the project deployment.

The ESS platform, which has been translated into Mandarin for use in China, includes a spectrum of solutions to support CNPC corporate initiatives for multimedia emissions control.
