Concrete counterflow towers with a hyperbolic design are custom engineered to meet extreme power generation requirements. Tower features include a design intended to minimize operating costs and provide a low pump head. For instance, the tower does not include fans, which results in an operating cost saving due to the fans not consuming energy. Eliminating the fans also eliminate the required maintenance of moving equipment.
