The International IAHR Conference on Cooling Tower and Air Cooled Heat Exchangers is organized every two years. The last conference – 17th IAHR conference on Cooling Towers – was organized by the University of Queensland (Dr Kamel Hooman & Dr Zhiqiang Guan) in September 2015, in Gold Coast – Australia following previous series of Conferences organized in Belarus, China and South Africa.
The International Conference is a great opportunity to bring together people from Industry, Utilities and Academics and Research Centers involved in Air Cooling Process activities such as Research, Development and Operation. Main topics of the Conference are related to new Projects or Commissioning, Design methods, Performance assessment, Environmental issues and Innovations.
EDF (Electricité de France), as major French utility, who operates more than 30 large Wet Cooling Towers for the cooling of its Nuclear and Thermal power plants, is happy to organize the 2017 IAHR Conference in Lyon, France from 16th to 20th October. Every interested participant is invited to submit presentation for this event.
