On April 15, Dow Chemical Co., Midland, Mich., increased its prices on all glycol-based heat transfer fluids, including concentrates, diluted products, inhibitor packages, cleaners and degreasers, with the exception of Dowfrost RV. The 5 percent price increase, which applies to distributors, channel partners and direct accounts, is for schedule and off-schedule prices for U.S. customers only. It has been four years since there has been a price increase on these fluids.
