A manufacturer of mixers has installed a three-zone circulating water temperature control system from Mokon, Buffalo, N.Y., for temperature accuracy and uniformity in the mixing process.

While satisfying the customer's requirements for heating, cooling and fluid control, the system meets specified electricals, control capabilities, physical layout and color. Mokon provided the unit in one framework, which requires less space. The system includes a 19.6 ft2 heat exchanger for cooling and provides closed water circuitry that separates the cooling water from the process water. It also comes with a microprocessor PID control with linear communication capabilities and a NEMA 12 electrical enclosure to protect the control and motor starter panels from dust and other debris.
