Cooling Technology Institute (CTI) will be hosting its 2004 Annual Conference at Wyndham (Hotel) Greenspoint in Houston, February 8-11, 2004. The annual conference will begin on Monday, February 9, at 8 a.m. with Frank Mitchell's president's address. This will be followed by technical paper presentations covering topics such as innovative design considerations for the largest dry-cooled CC power station in America; cooling tower water conservation; supplemental cooling; packing PVC cooling tower fiberglass; cooling technology and the environment; impact of recycled water use in cooling towers; and new technology for removal of Legionella in cooling towers.

CTI's Education Seminar Committee offers a hands-on program, entitled "Maintenance Procedures for Cooling Tower Mechanical Equipment." This will cover how to inspect, maintain and repair cooling tower mechanical equipment components and systems. An "Ask the CTI Expert" seminar (questions and answers from the floor) also will be a highlight at this conference.
