Ammonia Separation

Oil-Cooling-Free (OCF) single-screw package fromVilter Manufacturingoffers improved efficiency, simplified cooling system and reduced operational and maintenance costs. The OCF package's balanced loading of the single-screw design allows a cool mixture of oil and liquid ammonia to be injected into the compressor and discharge at saturation temperature. After the compression process on an OCF package, the liquid ammonia and oil discharge into the separator. With liquid ammonia also providing the basis for the oil separation, this approach is designed to result in improved separation efficiency.
