Designed for cooling water to 33°F (0.56°C), Short Gas Flow instant chiller fromChester-Jensen Co. Inc.operates without chance of inadvertent freezeup damage. Modular design and stainless steel construction allows unit to be cleaned, inspected and expanded. Unit is ASME certified. Fully insulated reservoir collects and holds cold water to supply batch needs. Chiller is designed to work with Freon or ammonia refrigerant, which is contained inside evaporator sections. Water to be cooled cascades over the outside of each corrugated plate.
