The 2004 Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition is scheduled for January 26-28 in Anaheim, Calif.

After a six-year hiatus from the West Coast and an 11-year absence from Southern California, the 2004 Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) is scheduled for January 26-28 in Anaheim, Calif.

Show management reports that by the beginning of May this year, more than 80 percent of exhibit space had been reserved by more than 1,200 companies, including approximately 300 co-exhibitors/ cross-listings.

Show management attributes some of the early interest to the fact that the industry's leading event has not been to Southern California for more than a decade. Because the West Coast has a complete range of climates -- from desert to beach to mountains -- there is a great demand for all types of heating and cooling equipment.

Co-sponsored by American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Atlanta, and the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI), Arlington, Va., AHR is held in conjunction with ASHRAE's Winter Meeting.
