Cryocoil Series uses liquid nitrogen as a cooling medium. The nitrogen, at temperatures as low as -300°F (-184°C), passes through the cooler and is vaporized using heat extracted from the process fluid. By adjusting liquid nitrogen flow, any discharge temperature to the process is possible. Spent nitrogen may be used elsewhere in the plant or vented to the atmosphere. Available in three configurations, the cooler from Thermax Inc. can be used to cool or condense most fluids and gases.
