Sterlco SMC Series air, water and remote air-cooled chillers provide 2 to 40 tons of cooling with a compact footprint. Its enclosure design eases service and maintenance and conserves floor space. The 2 to 30 hp models have hermetic scroll compressors to provide low noise, reduced rotating mass and less internal friction. The 35 and 40 hp models have semi-hermetic discus compressors with cylinder unloading, shell-and-tube evaporators and 80-gal stainless steel reservoirs. All models have an operating leaving water temperature range of 30 to 65oF (-1 to 18oC).
