Offered in straight- or U-tube configurations, Basco Type 500 shell-and-tube heat exchangers have a fixed tubesheet. The highly standard design offers cost effectiveness while providing for options to meet specific customer requirements. Sizes range from 3 to 12" dia. and 14 to 120" length. Materials of construction are carbon steel or 304 stainless steel for the shell and 0.5, 0.375 or 0.625" dia. tubes in copper, Admiralty, 90/10 copper/nickel, or 304 stainless steel.
