Oil, Acid, Moisture Purger

OAM Purger removes oil, moisture and acid from a chiller’s refrigerant charge, but its main purpose is to remove the oil and return it to the centrifugal chiller’s oil sump. The device from Redi Controls Inc. continually draws off a small quantity of refrigerant, typically 10 to 15 lb at a time. The refrigerant then is distilled back to the chiller, leaving the oil behind. The recovered oil is automatically returned to the oil sump. It is a passive device that operates independently of and has no other effect on chiller operation.
