Modulating Valve Improves Temperature Control

Advantage Engineering Inc.'s Sentra temperature controllers use its third-generation Advanced Valve Technology (AVT) modulating valve to precisely meter in cooling water. The valve is intended to eliminate water hammer that can be caused by on/off solenoid-style cooling valves used on some temperature controls. Valve features include stainless steel valve body, improved drive stem, O-ring stem seal, rigid mounting flange, one-piece coupling and high temperature ABS drip cover.
