Chil-Con optimizes oil separation from refrigeration system discharge gas. In the system fromHenry Technologies Inc., oil charge is decreased because most of the oil returns to the compressor crankcase at a steady rate. Oil carryover is reduced to 3 to 10 ppm. Single-stage and booster models are suited for use with reciprocating compressors. Unit has 2 to 5" connections for common halocarbon, ammonia and hydrocarbon systems. January/February 2001, RS# 220
