Shear Seal design from
Valcor Engineering Corp. provides high flow, high pressure performance. Design consists of a plunger, Teflon seal disc and a valve seat positioned in a brass or stainless steel body. Used in the company's cryogenic valve series, the seal provides a flow path that is directly in line with tubing or connection to either side of the valve. Straight-through, line-of-sight flow minimizes pressure loss through the valve and reduces turbulence.
