Thermal Modeling Software Package

Melcor Corp.andHarvard Thermalhave teamed up to offer a solution for the thermal modeling of assemblies that incorporate thermoelectric coolers. Using Harvard's thermal analysis software, customers can choose to include in their system model a three-dimensional representation of a Melcor thermoelectric cooler. The software will simulate the device behavior over its entire operating range in both heating and cooling modes. The thermostat function can be used to control voltage or current to the device. Other features include stacking TE coolers and solving for steady state and transient conditions.
