Designed to keep dirt, smoke and water out of electrical enclosures in nonhazardous areas, cabinet cooler from Exair Corp. purges with clean, 20°F (-7°C) air. Unit uses a vortex tube to convert compressed air into cold air without using refrigerants or environmentally harmful CFCs. System passes 1 scfm of air through the cooler to maintain a slight positive pressure inside the enclosure. When the thermostat detcts high temperature, it prompts the cooler to produce full cooling capacity. Cooling capacities are up to 2,800 BTU/hr, and cooler is suited for NEMA 12, 4, and 4X enclosures.
