Marley Cooling Technologies changed its name to SPX Cooling Technologies Inc. and released “Cooling Tower Parts Reference Guide.” SPX Cooling Technologies, Overland Park, Kan., will continue to provide Marley, Hamon Dry Cooling and Balcke/Ceramic branded cooling products and components, and cooling towers and components will still carry the Marley and Recold brands. The complete line of cooling towers and components is described in the 48-page guide, which also contains maintenance tips, cooling tower know-how and general information about cooling tower parts and components. It is available for download at www.marleyct.com.

NASA has awarded Flowserve Corp. a certificate of appreciation for custom-engineering valves for the agency's Johnson, Marshall and Stennis Space Centers. Flowserve's work included the design and manufacture of cryogenic split-body control valves whose construction and metallurgy avoid the leakage characteristic of conventional split-bodies. NASA presented the award at the company's Springville, Utah, manufacturing facility.
