Swep Moves North American Sales Office
March 5, 2009
The North American sales office has an environmentally friendly new home following a trouble-free move by Swep North America. The heat exchanger maker relocated to the Crestwood Building in Duluth, Ga., where the building's high environmental standards have won certification from the US Green Building Council.
The carefully planned move took place in just a few hours. "The phones were only off for a couple of hours," says Chuck Ingram, North American sales manager for Swep. "Other communications were only off for an hour." The North American team also received assistance from the Swedish company's IT team, headed by Tobbe Samuelsson, from the company's headquarters in Landskrona.
The Crestwood Building is only the third building in the state of Georgia to win LEED EB certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) sets standards for environmentally sustainable construction. These also cover renovations of existing buildings such as the Crestwood Building.
The new address is 3675 Crestwood Parkway, Suite 501, Duluth, GA 30096.
