Alfa Laval appointed Alessandro Terenghi president of its Richmond, Va., headquarters in the United States.

He joined the company, which creates heat-transfer, separation and fluid-handling technologies, in 1982 as a sales engineer for the former Thermal Business Area in Monza, Italy. Within this group, he manager of heat transfer components and thermal division manager. In 1997, he became managing director of Alfa Laval Artec in Alonte, Italy, with responsibilities for the sales, marketing and operations of the group. Most recently, Terenghi took on roles as managing director of Alfa Laval Italy and managing director of the Alfa Laval Adriatic region, comprising Italy, Greece, Albania Malta and the former Yugoslavian countries - Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Glendale Heights, Ill.-based Moisture Control Services (MCS), a division of Munters Corp., Amesbury, Mass., appointed Marc A. Santosuosso district manager of the Norfolk, Va., operations.

Also, Lauren John Reid has been promoted to executive vice president of global operations, a division of Munters AB.

Marietta, Ohio-based Caron Products & Services Inc. appointed Steve Keiser, vice president and COO of Marietta-based Christy & Associates Inc., chairman of its board of directors. Also, Dave Figel joined Caron as director of engineering.
