Jorgen M. Clausen, president and CEO of Danfoss A/S, has retired and is expected to become chairman of the Nordborg, Denmark-based company after its annual general meeting in the spring of 2009.

Jorgen M. Clausen, president and CEO of Danfoss A/S, has retired and is expected to become chairman of the Nordborg, Denmark-based company after its annual general meeting in the spring of 2009. His successor, Niels B. Christiansen, has assumed the two positions. Christiansen joined the company in 2004 as its chief operating officer and a member of its executive committee. In May 2007, he earned a promotion to the position of vice-CEO.

Design, engineering and construction firm Stellar, based in Jacksonville, Fla., has added two professionals to its Food & Beverage Facility Services Division. Orlando Negrin is the new director of the Atlantic Coast Region, and Brian Detz becomes the new mechanical project manager. Negrin has 28 years of experience in industrial refrigeration, including refrigeration system design, controls system design, engineered sales management, refrigeration service management and project management. Detz has experience in the design of new and retrofit refrigeration projects in industrial, institutional and other facilities.
