Honeywell has expanded its ongoing campaign to prevent infringement of its intellectual property portfolio. As part of this effort, Honeywell identified several exhibitors at IKK 2006, a trade show for the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry being held October 18-20 in Nuremberg, Germany, offering for sale unlicensed, infringing R-410A for air-conditioning applications. Honeywell obtained a preliminary injunction from the court in Duesseldorf, Germany, stopping those companies from promoting and selling the infringing R-410A at the trade show.
Based in Morris Township, N.J., Honeywell invented and patented R-410A and its use in air conditioning and other applications.
