EP27 overcomes issues with achieving high performance cures at low temperatures. In 0.006" thick films, the epoxy resin will set in as little as two hours at 40oF (4oC) and will cure in 48 to 72 hours. It has a noncritical mix ratio of 2:1 by weight or volume and a low mixed viscosity of 2,000 cps. The cured epoxy resin system offers physical strength properties and chemical resistance. It provides long-term resistance to immersion in aggressive solvents such as ethanol, toluene, butyl cellosolve, 70 percent sulfuric acid, 30 percent nitric acid, 50 percent sodium hydroxide and bleaches.
