Silicone cables provide environmental protection, including water resistance. Inherent water-repellent characteristics allow the silicone cables to withstand immersion, high humidity, fungus and damp operating environments, making them suitable for washdown, autoclave and other wet applications. Extremely dry conditions or low humidity will not affect the cable’s flexibility or life. The cables also are resistant to the effects of salt spray or seawater exposure.
