Trevor-Martin, a Clearwater, Fla.-based producer of residential heat recovery units, has merged its heat recovery business with York, Pa.-basedDoucette Industries’ heat exchanger and desuperheater product lines. John Borzoni, the current president of Trevor-Martin, will become the national sales manager of Doucette’s new heat recovery unit division.John Lebowill remain president of Doucette Industries. Staffing updates, including additional personnel, are expected.

To enhance its family of process simulation tools for designing processes and training operators to be more efficient, Phoenix-basedHoneywellhas acquired the software offerings of the advanced process control (APC) and optimization business ofPAS Inc., Houston, Texas. By integrating PAS’s APC technology with its ProfitSuites advanced process control and UniSimA simulation solutions, Honeywell expects to provide customers with high-level optimization benefits such as increased production rates, reduced energy consumption and superior control and optimization.
Los Angeles-based Canon Communications acquired The Society of the Plastics Industry’sPlastics USAtrade show. As a part of the agreement, the Washington, D.C.-based trade association will now sponsor Canon’sPlastecshows as well. The first SPI sponsored event will be Plastec Midwest, planned for September at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.
