Electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding and thermal-management requirements in indoor and outdoor applications can be met with one-piece vent panels. An aluminum honeycomb diffuser that reduces EMI is combined with a decorative aluminum bezel into an integrated assembly. The honeycomb is suitable for cooling because of negligible airflow resistance. Free airflow is maximized with approximately 85 percent open, square or hex pattern perforations in the diffuser. Louvered design vent panels, fitted on the air-intake side, can be designed to channel airflow in specific directions or shed water.
