Installers in countries as diverse as Estonia, Columbia, Morocco and New Zealand have found a new way to compete: they challenge each other’s technical knowledge of refrigeration via the Internet. “Cool Game” was created by Danfoss Refrigeration & Air Conditioning’s education and training department.
The online game offers challenging technical tasks where players build advanced
refrigeration systems such as capillary tube systems as quickly as possible.
Danfoss’s Stephan Bachmann, who is responsible for internal technical support
in Offenbach, Germany, created the concept and conceived the refrigeration
circuits for the second version of “Cool Game,” which was introduced at the IKK
fair in Nuremburg, Germany, in October 2006.
More than 500 users are registered to play. To play Cool Game II, visit Danfoss
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning’s training pages.
