Offered in four styles, temperature-adjusted cooling-water valves help maintain the correct temperature of machines and equipment. The self-acting, thermostatically operated valve works without electrical power, is insensitive to dirt particles, and available in brass or stainless steel. The electronically controlled proportional valves can be surveyed and controlled by computer. In addition to the valve, an electronic temperature sensor and a P/PID regulator to transmit the open/close signals are required. The electronically controlled solenoid valves are regulated by adjustable pulse-width modulation that responds to the need for cooling water in the system. The electronically controlled motor valves operate similar to electronically controlled proportional valves, in which the opening degree of the valve is dependent on a temperature sensor and a regulator.
