Roderic Fink, former owner and shareholder of Acme Cryogenics, Allentown, Pa., was awarded the H. Emerson Thomas Award for Lifetime Achievement at the Compressed Gas Association’s safety awards banquet.

Roderic Fink, former owner and shareholder of Acme Cryogenics, Allentown, Pa., was awarded the H. Emerson Thomas Award for Lifetime Achievement at the Compressed Gas Association’s safety awards banquet in March. The award is presented to individuals involved in CGA activities in recognition of leadership in standards development, safety procedures and/or regulatory affairs.

Mott Corp., Farmington, Conn., promoted Gary Scaife to vice president and CFO. In addition, he was elected to the board of directors. Also, Mott promoted Susanne D. Spargo to the position of vice president, human resources.

Yolande Burnham was named president of A.W. Lake Co. as well as Sheepscot Dispensing Systems (SDS), companies of TASI Group. Burnham will be based at the A.W. Lake headquarters in Franksville, Wis.

Nick Honko was named director of global sales for Kathabar Dehumidification Systems Inc., Somerset, N.J. Honko will focus on business development, sales engineering and project management for the newly formed subsidiary of Niagara Blower Co., Buffalo, N.Y. Niagara acquired the assets of Kathabar Inc. in January 2008.
