In the instrumentation world, panel space equals money. Moore Industries, North Hills, Calif., has addressed this requirement for very narrow instruments with its miniMoore family of multi-channel analog signal conditioners. The device delivers up to four low-cost I/O channels in a 1" footprint, which equates to 0.25" per channel.

Providing 1,000 Vrms input-to-output and channel-to-channel signal isolation, the complete miniMoore family can isolate, convert, boost and split analog signals. The signal conditioners are offered in compact two-and four-channel models. The two-wire (loop) and universal AC/DC four-wire (line/mains) powered versions accommodate every available industrial power supply.

Moore Industries also has released "Signal Isolators, Converters and Interfaces: The 'Ins' and 'Outs,'" which is a digital interactive whitepaper and selection guide. It is available free at www.miinet.com/minimoore.
