Frigel North America has moved its U.S. headquarters from Lake Zurich, Ill., to a 40,000 ft2 facility in East Dundee, Ill. According to the manufacturer of the Ecodry closed-loop intelligent cooling system, the move sets the stage for continued growth and advances preparations for manufacturing the systems in the United States.

According to company executives, Frigel NA chose to remain close to the Chicago area due to its central location in the United States and its position as a major "hub" of transportation. "The ability to deliver products quickly and more economically has always been a foundation of Frigel’s business practice," said Steve Petrakis, president of Frigel NA. "We are looking forward to this expansion and bringing this intelligent technology more effectively to North American manufacturers."

Company executives expect that Frigel's Ecodry -- an eco-friendly alternative to traditional cooling towers -- is positioned for growth as more companies look to incorporate alternatives that can help reduce their ecological footprint.

The move to 150 Prairie Lake Road, Unit A, in East Dundee, Ill. (60118), was completed in late September. The company's phone and fax numbers remain the same (847-540-0160; fax 847-540-0161).
