Cryogenic chillers from China used in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients provide a cooling source for temperature-reducing and controlling technology.
The chillers, made by Beijing-based Tianli Process Technology Co. Ltd., use a cooling system and open-type screw compressor. The economizer in the high-temperature stage, the condensing evaporator that connects high and low temperature stages, and the evaporator in the low temperature stage all rely on Swep compact brazed heat exchangers, manufactured in Suzhou, China. Swep is headquartered in Landskrona, Sweden.
The Tianli chiller also is used in industries other than pharmaceuticals, such as the chemical and food industries. According to Tianli, more than 50 cryogenic chillers have been sold, and nearly 100 Swep heat exchangers have been used in the units since their 2001 partnership began.
