Cooling water-related technical and practical presentations, including papers and workshops, will highlight this fall’s three-day International Water Conference.
Set for October 5 through 8 at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, the conference will host paper presentations and roundtable discussions, covering “how-to methods,” troubleshooting, new technologies and water reuse guidelines, as well as Legionnaire’s disease, water conservation, zero discharge, biocides and non-chemical treatment technologies.
Workshop topics include cooling water, water reuse guidelines for cooling tower systems, boiler water, membranes and more. The workshops provide a venue to obtain in-depth understanding of water treatments such as scale and corrosion inhibitors as well as biocides that work or do not perform well with certain waters. The sessions are intended for those new to the water industry but also can expand the knowledge of those involved for some time. They provide an opportunity for attendees to ask water industry experts questions on a one-on-one basis.
Other conference topics include industrial and commercial water applications for cooling water, boiler water, wastewater, ion exchange, membranes and water reuse/conservation. For more information, contact the conference manager at (412) 261-0710, ext. 11.
