Water Analysis Method
April 14, 2009
Method for measuring oil in water does not use solvents and is compatible with the company’s TD-500D handheld analyzer. The method uses a surfactant rather than solvent to measure all oils. It can be used to measure crudes, condensates up to 50° API, and refined diesel range oil, lube oils and heavy fuel oils in water. The measurement capability ranges from less than 1 to more than 10,000 ppm without dilution. Accuracy is not affected by water salinity, hardness and process temperature.
