"Extraordinary connections" is the theme of the 25th annual AWT convention and exposition. Planned for October 20-23 at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, the annual meeting for water treatment professionals and members of the Association of Water Technologies promises networking opportunities, technical presentations and educational events. The program provides an opportunity for industry experts to examine and discuss the forces driving water treatment today.

Conference highlights include two general sessions and a leadership session. In the first general session, Bill Moir of Steam Engineering Inc. will provide an overview of the Department of Energy software tools to improve steam efficiency. In the second general session, Theo Androus of Gitomer Inc. will offer a coaching perspective on how professionals can increase profitability and effectiveness. Finally, at the leadership session, Jack Altschuler, the AWT past president will discuss "Fully Alive" leadership.
