Master Gauges for Pressure Instrument Testing, Certification
February 17, 2010
When testing or certifying pressure-monitoring devices, the calibration is only as good as the master instrument used for comparison. Master test gauges are offered in 4.5, 6 and 8.5"” dia. Type 1082 has ±0.25 percent full-scale accuracy in ranges from vacuum through 10,000 psi. An external zero adjuster, temperature compensation and Monel wetted parts ensure precision and media compatibility. For field calibration, the 3" Type 1084 pocket-sized test gauge covers ranges to 1,000 psi with ±0.5 percent full-scale accuracy.
