Alfa Laval, a maker of heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling equipment has received an approximately $13 million order for its Packinox heat exchangers for an integrated refinery and petrochemical complex in China.
The units will be used in the production of mixed xylene at a new aromatics plant in an integrated refinery and petrochemical complex. The produced xylene can, among other things, be used for production of PET bottles.
