Ultrasonic leak detector can locate leaks in compressed air systems. Testing ofunions, pipes, valves and fittings can be performed at distances up to 20' (6.1 m) away. High pressure air expanding to atmosphere creates high frequency turbulence that Model ULD converts into an audible tone, which can be heard through the supplied headphones. Background plant noise is filtered out using the three sensitivity settings.
