A product line consisting of seven types and sizes of centrifugal fans was acquired by Hartzell Fan Inc., Piqua, Ohio, a maker of industrial fans and blowers. The brands had been made by Acme Engineering and Manufacturing Co., Muskogee, Okla.
Hartzell, which has its own line of centrifugal fans, says the additional lines provide new fan products, or fans of larger size or higher flow and pressures. The Acme products consist of turbo pressure blowers, industrial exhausters, inline centrifugals, radial-tip blowers and airfoil centrifugals.
Production has moved to Hartzell’s Piqua facility.
