The KDS Solar from the Buffalo, N.Y.-based manufacturer utilizes solar hot water to dehumidify outdoor ventilation air. According to the company, making use of solar heat can lead to increased energy efficiency and utility savings for applications requiring high amounts of outside air. In addition to using solar hot water as a heat source, the system can use cooling tower water as a coolant source.
