Bimetal thermometers are available in dial diameters from 2 to 5" and in ranges from -80 to 1,000°F (-62 to 538°C). Standard stem lengths range from 2.5 through 24" with special-order stems up to 60". Maxivision thermometers provide a fixed rear or bottom stem while the Everyangle design allows the stem angle to be adjusted. Hermetically sealed to ease wash down, or liquid-filled to counter high vibration, the stainless steel bimetal thermometers are suited for many difficult installations.
