Inline flowmeters are suited for applications utilizing water, water/glycol coolant and other low-viscosity fluids. They monitor the flow of cooling fluid for slurry pump seal water, machine coolant, steam boiler feedwater and resistance welders. They also can be used for cooling boiler feed pumps and turbine bearing cooling in power generation plants as well as providing cooling water to furnace walls and inductors in steel mills. The meters operate with NPT ports ranging from 0.25 to 2" in size and can handle flows from 4 to 200 gal/min, with occasional over-ranging up to 125 percent of capacity without damaging the meter.
