Need effective cooling and air movement in your process? Consider a fan. Our Product Roundup shows some of the options available.

Solar-Powered Hybrid Fan

Swifter Solar Series is offered in sizes from 12 to 24' dia. and can be used to cool large spaces such as warehouses, manufacturing and assembly plants, and large dairy sheds. The hybrid HVLS (high volume low speed) fan can circulate large volumes of air using less than 1 kW of power. Also, because it is a hybrid system, it can operate with limited or no sunlight by automatically switching over to grid power.

Cast Aluminum Blowers
Blowers are offered in 4, 6 or 8" dia. with capacities to 1,550 cfm. Features include a cast aluminum housing, heavy-duty steel base, and forward-curved blowers. It offers clockwise rotation and can be rotated to four positions. Suitable for application temperatures of 0 to 160°F (-17 to 71°C), the blowers have circular inlet and outlet collars and single- or three-phase TEFC motors.

Sickle-Blade Fan
Sickle Series blades are built for nearly any air-moving application. The sickle blade’s large chord length and thin trailing edge combine to generate greater pressure at slower speeds while significantly reducing noise levels. Company also offers fan impeller solutions for applications that have reduced noise by up to 7 dBA. Available in fiberglass-reinforced nylon, fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene, and aluminum, the fans are offered in diameters from 11 to 77".

Fans for Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers, Cooling Towers
Class 10000 Heavy Duty (HD) fans are designed for large fan diameter installations. Offered in clockwise (RH) and counterclockwise (LH) rotation in fan diameters from 4 to 24" (1.22 to 7.32 m), they can be configured with manually adjustable pitch. Features include a hub tube diameter of 3" for added strength and durability, resilient blade mounts, increased chord width, and adjustable fan diameter (±1.5" [3.81 cm]). The blade angle can be adjusted without removing the fan blades.

Cooling Tower Fan
Marley HP7i fans are designed for cooling tower applications. The Flare Tip blade enhancement increases performance by overcoming tip clearance losses, aiding the movement of air next to the fan cylinder, according to the company. The wide blade design is suited for low noise operation, delivering maximum airflow and pressure capability at reduced speed. Fiberglass-reinforced epoxy laminate construction protects against leading edge erosion of the airfoil.

Pressure Air Fans
To meet specific applications, PA fans can be built with stainless steel or alloy construction. Split housings facilitate wheel removal without disturbing connecting ductwork. Integral inlet boxes, prespin inlet dampers and opposed-blade outlet dampers all control airflow. Belt guards and shaft coolers also are common options, in addition to the various housing and wheel liners. Chicago Blower engineers are able to design and build the pressure fan that meets your exact requirements.

FRP Fan Blades
Tuf-Lite III was developed from the most severe strength testing program to date at the company. Its one-piece fiberglass-reinforced polyester construction helps ensure good leading and trailing edge protection as well as superior UV protection. The individually balanced, interchangeable blades can be installed in current designs of the company’s hubs. Size ranges from 11 to 14' and 20' to 10 m in diameter.
