Commodity Costs Drive Price Increase
Century Refrigeration, a division of RAE Corp., Pryor, Okla.,
has announced a price increase due to the fluctuating cost of raw material. The
company notes that the price of commodities such as copper and aluminum has
steadily increased throughout 2010 and into 2011. Century Refrigeration made
efforts to reduce costs in other areas with increased automation, updated
tooling, investments in tube bending equipment and a redesigned condensing unit.
