The company has modified its water pumps to handle hot compressor and cooking oils, and now virtually all Frito-Lay snack products fried in the United States, such as potato chips and corn chips, are cooked with Cornell's pump-equipped fryers, and the potatoes that make the popular snack products also pump through Cornell pumps.
